  • Obverse: Design in black over a background in yellow. In the center, allegorical of an old building. Above, the issuer name "BANCO CARACAS", "COMPAÑÍA ANÓNIMA". Below, the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES" «Ten Bolívares» and part of the payment clause. On each side, within a guilloche the denomination value "10" with part of the payment clause. In each corner within a guilloche the denomination value "10" . On the bottom, the signatures zone. At left, the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL B 6.000.000". The payment clause is "EL BANCO CARACAS PAGARA AL PORTADOR" / "EN SUS OFICINAS EN DINERO EFECTIVO" / "DIEZ BOLIVARES" / "A LA PRESENTACION DE ESTE BILLETE"
