In the center, the value "1000" with the denomination in words "MIL BOLÍVARES" «one thousand Bolívares» splitted in two parts over monument to Simon Bolivar by Pietro Tenerani, located in the Panteón Nacional. On the upper left corner, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». In the right corners the denomination value "1000".
  • Reverse: Design in violet. In the center, picture of the Avila Hill in Caracas with the Panteón Nacional at right and some orchids at left. On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela» with the Coat of Arms below at left.
