  • Obverse: In the center, portrait of Simon Bolivar inside an oval from unknown author. On each side, the denomination value "1000" within a guilloche. Below, the legend "VALE POR", the denomination in words "UN MIL BOLIVARES" and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" «Payments to the Bearier in the Offices of the Bank». On the top, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA", amount of signatures and the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL Bs24.000.000". On the left and on the right allegorical of horses and cowboys. On the bottom, the signatures zone. In upper corners the denomination value "1000". On the left, below of the allegorical of horses and cowboys, the date filling space.
  • Reverse: Design in yellow. In the center, inside a circle Coat of Arms with the motto "INDEPENDENCIA", "LIBERTAD", "5 DE JULIO 1811", "28 DE MARZO 1864" and "DIOS Y FEDERACION". On each side, the denomination value "1000". Above and below of the Coat of Arms, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA".
  • Production information: November 1934: 4000 pieces (serie 4 and 5, interval 6001 - 9999 and 10000), March 1936: 5000 pieces (serie 5, interval 10001 - 15000)
