On the left, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA" - "SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA", the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL B/15.000.000.", "VALE POR", the denomination in words "CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES" «fifty Bolívares» and the payment clause "que se pagarán al portador en Carácas á la presentacion" «payable to bearer in Caracas upon presentation». On the upper left corner and bottom corners the denomination value "50" inside a circle. In the upper right corner the face value "50 BOLIVARES". Above, of the issuer name, the date filling space "Caracas, ______ 189__".
Reverse: Blue background pattern. In the center, inside a circle Coat of Arms with the motto "INDEPENDENCIA", "LIBERTAD", "5 DE JULIO 1811", "28 DE MARZO 1864" and "DIOS Y FEDERACION", on each side the denomination value "50" within a rosette. Above and below the Coat of Arms the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA".
