  • Obverse: On the top, Coat of Arms with the denomination value "10" at each side. Next, the legends "BILLETE DE TESORERIA" and "(DECRETO DEL 1° DE OCTUBRE DE 1849)" below. Serie letter at left and Serial number. at right. In the center, the payment clause "Vale por DIEZ PESOS al portador pagaderos con la cuarta parte de derechos ordinarios de importacion, mitad de derechos de sal y deudas al Tesoro por rezagos hasta 30 de Junio de 1849" «Worth TEN PESOS to the bearer payable with quarter ordinary import rights, half salt rights and debts to Treasure for lags until June 30th 1849», the date "Caracas Octubre 1° de 1849, 20 y 39" and the signers below
