  • Obverse: Design in red over a background in red, green and yellow. On the left, portrait of Simon Bolivar by Antonio Salas (1925) Serie letter a partial text of the Independence Act in micro-printing. On the right, watermarks zone. In the center, the denomination value "1000" with the denomination in words "MIL BOLÍVARES" «one thousand Bolívares» above. On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela» with the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" «Payments to the Bearier in the Offices of the Bank» above. In each corner but upper right corner, the denomination value "1000".
  • Reverse: Design in red and black. In the center, engraving of the painting "Firma del Acta de Independencia" by Juan Lovera. On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela» and the denomination in words "MIL BOLÍVARES" «one thousand Bolívares» below.
