- Obverse: Design in green. On the right, portrait of Antonio José de Sucre by unknown author with the Coat of Arms of the Sucre's family at right. On the left, watermarks zone. In the center, the denomination value "2000" with the denomination in words "DOS MIL BOLIVARES" «two thousand Bolívares» splitted in two parts. Below, the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" «Payments to the Bearier in the Offices of the Bank». On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». In the upper right and bottom left corners the denomination value "2000".
- Reverse: Design in green. In the center, engraving of the painting "Triumph of Sucre in the Battle of Ayacucho" by Herrera Toro based on artwork from Martín Tovar y Tovar with Coat of Arms at right. On the top, the denomination in words "DOS MIL BOLIVARES" «two thousand Bolívares». On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». - Amount: 544 (estimated). 17 known pieces. (based on reports and researches. Not conclusive about amount of surviving pieces)
- Printer: B.A. Banknote Company
- Serial interval: Unknown.
- Description of the error: Officially it's known that there is no serie prefix "E" for the date "Febrero 10 1998", so these banknotes should be a printing error.
It's presumed that this occurred at the stage of letterpress printing (when the serial number is printed), where the prefix "D" was changed to the prefix "E" (maybe because of mechanical failure). This theory is based on the serial numbers of known pieces is less than 30 million which corresponds to the series "D" and also the date was printed in the previous stage (intaglio). This theory is no longer valid with the existence of a serial number above 30 million.
A second theory, is in the letterpress printing process of the serie prefix "E" which by operational or mishandling error, some sheets printed with the date "Febrero" was introducted, based that same company produced for both authorization dates.

- Note: Error. Incorrect serial number. The serie letter prefix is not correct in this date. It's possible that is due to numbering machine misconfiguration or incorrect sheets for numbering.
