On the top, the denomination in words "QUINIENTOS BOLÍVARES" «five hundred Bolívares». On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela» and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" «Payments to the Bearier in the Offices of the Bank» above. In each corner the denomination value "500".
Reverse: Design in blue and violet. In each corner Orquídea Catesetum pileatum with Coat of Arms. On the right, watermarks zone.
